ELKS PLAN CEREMONY TO HONOR MILITARY PERSONNEL
The Ontario District of the New York State Elks Association, that encompasses Oswego, Onondaga and Cayuga Counties, will hold a memorial ceremony to honor those who lost their lives while serving in the miliatry during the Iraqi War and Afghanistan War (March 19, 2003 to present).

Families of those who died during these wars will be presented with an American Patriot Plaque. Lieutenance Colonel Fredrick Smith, Retired, will be the guest speaker at the ceremony which will be held on Memorial Day weekend, May 26, 2012, at the Oswego Elks Lodge beginning at 3:00 pm. The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
